Forest City Military Communities, LLC (FCMC) was established to focus on and participate in the privatization of military family housing – creating and revitalizing neighborhoods for our nation’s service members and their families across the country. We are dedicated to the singular vision of enhancing the quality of life of military families through superior homes and welcoming neighborhoods. Locally, FCMC is the managing member in a partnership with the Department of the Navy to manage, maintain and revitalize neighborhoods for Navy Region Midwest, including the neighborhoods of Mainside, Hospital Cove, Forrestal Village, Halsey Village, Nimitz Village, Glenview, and Ft. Sheridan. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Naval Station Great Lakes has prepared men and women for duty in Naval Service since its founding in 1911. NSWC Crane, home to the 3rd largest Navy installation in the world, is involved in virtually every ship, submarine, aircraft, and missile system fielded by the Navy.
